Sonja moved from London to India 8 years ago and is certified by the British School of Yoga in Hatha & Meditation & is also a certified Vibrant Living Teacher in Hatha Flow. Sonja has studied intensely mainly in India and London and believes that living yoga in it's essence helps to impart her knowledge better and more succinctly. She started practicing yoga fifteen years ago and has thirteen intensive years of experience teaching Yoga and twenty five years experience of teaching Pilates in London, India and Nepal. Mohan Joshi

Mridula Sharma

Born in 1949 at the holy city of Nasik Maharashtra one of the places that host 'kumbh'. Born in a brahmin family, was initiated into yoga from the begining as her mother followed it. She was the diciple of Swami Yogeshwarananda of Rishikesh. Mridula had some training at his ashram now known as Yog Niketan, as well as at the ashram of swami Shivananda of Divine life society. She and her mother were very close to these two yogis. Swami Shivananda has mentioned her true story of reincarnation in one of his books, 'what becomes of soul after death'. She is one of the cases of reincarnation in India, researched by world authority on parapsychology Dr Ian Stevenson. Having been brought up on yoga, homeopathy, naturopathy and ayurveda she has written a book on natural health Named, 'Wow No Side Effects' which has become very popular because of the easy remedies and easy language.She also run two groups on face book called, "Ah No Side effects" and "Reincarnation"

Yogi Ram

Yogi Ram was born in the Indian South East state of Orissa. He comes from a Family with a long Ayurveda and Yoga tradition. Started learning yoga from his Grand Father at the age of 13 in the village of Amamunda where he lived until the age of 17. Later on, he became student of Economics and History in Ganga Dhar Meher College in Orissa. During his stay at the college, he never miss any Satsang (spiritual teaching) in the Sambalpur city, an ancient city where many sages use to come. During this period, he attended the Satsang of Swami Chidananda (disciple of Swami Shivananda from Rishikesh). This encounter changes his mind and life. After that he experienced spiritual awakening and started an intense spiritual practice and study, reading books of Paramahansa Yogananda, Swami Shivananda and Raman Maharshi, between others.

After the completion the University and holding the degree of Bachelor of Arts he qualified for an administrative work in the Orissa government. However because of his deep interest in spirituality, the year 1998 he left Orissa and came to the banks of Ganga in Rishikesh. In Rishikesh he came first to Shivananda Ashram where he did his first Yoga course. After this course he meet Swami Vigyananda from Yoga Niketan with whom he went deeper in the study of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Bhagavat Gita, Hatha Yoga and meditation. After this period he spent some years doing sadhana in Swarg Ashram and went to some Himalayan caves looking for the perfection of his spiritual practice. Since that, he has been teaching Yoga in Rishikesh from the last 15 years guiding his students who comes from all over the world and funding Shanti Dham Yoga Ashram, an institution dedicated to disseminate spiritual knowledge and help seekers on the path of God realization.

Alex Hankey

Dr Alex Hankey is Distinguished Professor of Yoga and Physical Sciences at SVYASA the Yoga University in Bangalore, Karnataka, where he guides PhD research on Yoga, Meditation, the Mind-Body Connection, and holistic aspects of organism function at its Prashanti Kutiram campus in Jigani some 30 km south of Bangalore. He is on the editorial boards of four leading journals in Complementary and Alternative Medicine – CAM. He is Senior Editor of JAIM, the Journal of Ayurveda Integrative Medicine, after being its founding Executive Editor. He is Associate Editor of the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, and also on the Editorial Boards of LOAJ, and IJOY. Dr Hankey attended Cambridge University, gaining straight Firsts in Natural Sciences; his PhD was in theoretical physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he studied under Professors Steven Weinberg and H. Eugene Stanley. After a year at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, he joined the nascent Maharishi International University, and worked for many years studying the relationship between the holistic Vedic sciences and reductive, modern western science. As a result, he has developed unique approaches to the disciplines Ayurveda, Jyotish, Samkhya, Yoga and Vedanta.

Dr Hankey returned to research in 2002, to apply his new physical and biophysical insights to such areas as quantum complexity, and systems of CAM, including Ayurveda, Yoga and Yoga Medicine. In all, Dr Hankey has published some 40 papers in the peer reviewed scientific literature, including a series on feedback amplification to understand processes in Yoga meditation, and on self-observing quantum systems to understand the mind-body connection. He has also developed a new, holistic approach to understanding, from a Vedic perspective, the mysteries of atomic physics presented by quantum theory. He has also published five or more on Ayurveda's Tridosha, and a new holistic approach to biology.

Reshy is from Pune, India. She completed her Bachelor of Arts from University of Pune and then pursued her studies in Community Welfare Work in Melbourne, Australia. After having worked in Australia within the Human Services for some years and having gone through a period of upheaval in her personal life, she ardently sought to make sense of her life. She returned to India in 2011 and gravitated towards Yoga to heal. This is when her journey to the greatest learning of the Self and optimal state of wellness began. Yoga led her to embrace life fully with awareness and compassion. In 2011, she completed her Foundation Yoga Teacher Training and Medical Yoga Therapy with Param Yoga, Pune and also went on to complete her training with them in the practice of Vinyasa, Science of Pranayama and Pilates. To further deepen her practice and understanding, she trained in the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Tradition. Her passion to do more therapeutic work led her to train in Yoga Therapy with the Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga Mysore-Kerala School in Varkala. Reshy teaches from a place of personal experience, and likes to draw upon the ancient wisdom and healing practices of Yoga to overcome the limitations of the body and mind. She is committed to an integrated practice of asanas, pranayama, chanting and meditation. Her teaching style encourages correct alignment, synchronization of breath and movement, and awareness of body-mind-breath. She also works extensively with individuals with specific needs by using props, Iyengar therapy principles and the principles of Viniyoga propounded by Sri Desikacharyaji. Skin problems and stress are correlated with each other. On basis of that ,research was done under guidance of dermatologist

of AIMS Hospital. Skin problems caused due to stress are treated with ayurvedic

treatment like shirodhara, internal medicines ,meditation for stress rehabilitation and patient recovery was found to be excellent.

My name is Anukriti Sharma. I am neither a God nor a Guru. I am not a doctor or a cult leader. I am Anukriti Sharma and I practice in the field of Integrative Lifestyle Therapy and Life Coaching. I am a healer.

When one hears the word “medicine”, one immediately thinks of the pharmaceutical world, allopathy, chemotherapy, radiation, antibiotics and other drugs used by conventional doctors and medicine. I am not a practitioner of Alternative Medicine either. I believe in Integrative Therapy, where doctors do what they have to do, but the "medicine" that I use is Lifestyle, which is based on the four pillars of holistic health - balanced nutrition, yoga and adequate exercise, quality sleep and emotional health.

My interest in Integrative Therapy and Yoga started back in my college days when I was a part of M. Tech. (Biotechnology - Amity University). I finished my five-and-a-half year course and moved on to work for several health organizations in different fields across New Delhi, Hyderabad, and Lucknow, India. While I tried my hand at different professions ranging from fitness modelling, coaching athletes to teaching Physical Education and Yoga and motivational speaking, I continued to have a passion for Yoga and Holistic Health as I saw the health of upper management of most companies deteriorate, in pursuit of the corporate dream.

I continued to study Hatha and Iyengar styles of Yoga at Samagra Yog Sadhana Evam Anusandhan Sansthan, a certified course to further understand Yoga, exercise physiology and the anatomy of the human body. Learning is continuous and we can never stop this process, as there is so much to learn from life, experience and studies.

I am associated with YOGA SHIKSHAK SANGH as Director - Modern Yoga and Integrative Therapy, Holistic Health Care, and I have a passion to use my life's experiences and the expertise in my line of work to heal as many people across the world, as possible.

Holistic health is about caring for the whole person — providing for your physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs. It's rooted in the understanding that all these aspects affect your overall health, and being unwell in one aspect affects you in others. I incorporate Integrative Therapy techniques into almost any type of therapeutic work with children, adolescents, and adults, in individual practice or group settings.
